A lot of people choose to become vegetarians in order to avoid causing unnecessary suffering and death on sentient, non-human animals such as cows and chicken.
Little do they know, however, that the production of foods such as dairy and eggs (which they still consume as vegetarians) involve tremendous amounts of animal cruelty and exploitation — even more than those needed for the production of animal flesh (i.e. meat).
In only 14 minutes, the following video does a brilliant job in explaining why vegetarianism is far from cruelty-free, inspiring vegetarians to turn into vegan and make a big positive difference for the animals of our planet.
