“Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.” ~Oscar Wilde
Life is a school, providing us with important lessons that can help us to grow and reach to higher states of consciousness, and the better students we are, the more we can learn from life and grow accordingly.
Since the day we were born, each and every one of us is constantly learning the art of living. But not all of us learn at the same pace and to the same extent — some learn considerably more and quicker than others. This happens mainly because some people make more use of their mistakes than others. They pay more attention to them, contemplate more on them, try more to figure them out, and hence they learn more from them, growing out of them, not having to repeat them again in the future.
Such people have realized that learning from mistakes is the secret to becoming a wiser person. They see mistakes as their teachers, who guide them toward living a better, more beautiful life. And the more diligently they follow their guidance and acquire knowledge with their help, the more the quality of their life is improved.
In the journey of life, we are constantly making mistakes, and no one is exempt from them. So don’t be afraid of your mistakes — embrace them, and let them transform you into a wiser and greater person.
“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” ~George Bernard Shaw
