Each and every human being is born with the desire to create. However, the society we’ve brought up in is suppressing our creative nature since the day we were born.
As a result, most of us become sad and miserable, unable to find meaning and purpose in our lives. We live like automatons, following a predetermined path that was handed down to us by others, forcing ourselves into a routine, doing day in and day out things we hate doing.
But what is the point of living this way? What is the point of living in a way that is filling you with stress and suffering? I raise this and more important questions in a recent interview I gave on the Conscious Living podcast, the core discussion topic of which was creativity. In particular, I touched upon the importance of creativity in helping us to express and heal ourselves. I also talked about the root cause of suffering, how we can discover our gift and offer it to the world, and most importantly, how we can learn to live at peace with ourselves and others.
